Estate Vineyard
LucidWild Estate is on the esteemed Worden Hill Road in the heart of the Dundee Hills AVA. The Dundee Hills AVA is internationally recognized for producing premium and elegant wines from its rich red volcanic Jory soils, ample sun exposure, predictable wind flow and close proximity to the 45th parallel.
LucidWild was planted nearly 25 years ago, is 100% dry-farmed and has over 26 acres of vines, including over 24 acres of Pinot Noir and 2 acres of Chardonnay. The vines face southwest and rise at an elevation from 600 feet to more than 800 feet. Our sustainable farming and ethos of “Putting the Land Before the Hand” has led to small-lot highly premium single vineyard wines reflecting an honest and authentic expression of the estate vineyard.
LucidWild Estate is located within the Willamette Valley, less than 30 miles southwest of Portland and 23 miles north of Salem.
The quality of LucidWild wines depends on our proactive efforts to maintain healthy soil, healthy vines and a healthy relationship with the earth. This responsibility guides LucidWild sustainable practices in the vineyard and cellar as LucidWild’s Estate is 100% dry-farmed and a member of the Deep Roots Coalition. LucidWild is also certified LIVE Sustainable and Salmon Safe to ensure the highest expression of the estate and its commitment to sustainability.

Deep Roots Coalition
LucidWild’s nearly 25 year old vines are 100% dry-farmed (no irrigation) to produce the highest quality wines with a laser focus on authenticity. Dry-farming promotes ecological sustainability, conservation, and a deep-root vine system to accentuate the interesting layers of the Dundee Hill’s volcanic Jory soil. The deep-rooted vines produce a smaller berry, with a greater skin to juice ratio, and thus a more concentrated flavored berry that is uniquely characteristic of the vineyard and soil on our estate (i.e. authentically pure wines). Our commitment to dry-farming also goes hand in hand with our strong commitment to sustainability and conservation of our precious resources. Reflecting this commitment, LucidWild is a member of the Deep Roots Coalition, and certified under the LIVE (Low Input Viticulture & Enology) and Salmon Safe sustainability programs.
